In the Malathoun tehsil area of Sagar district, the administration, taking major action, has returned 100 acres of tribals’ land from the possession of a influential. Taking major action in Malathoun, the administration again gave the tribal farmers captured about 100 acres of land. For a long time, there was an illegal occupation of local resident Ranu Singhai father Gokul Chandra Jain on this land. It is alleged that Singhai illegally raised his empire on this land.
In this case, a joint team of Revenue and Police Department led by SDM Manoj Chaurasia reached the spot and took action. According to SDM, complaints were lodged several times by tribal farmers regarding this land, after which illegal occupation was removed in the presence of Naib Tehsildar Kamlesh Satnami, Police Station Incharge Ashok Yadav, Patwari and other revenue staff on Sunday.
During the action, the farmers were handed over the land on the spot and handed over the land from the tractor. This land was from the area adjacent to Malathoun, where leases were issued by the government to the tribals earlier. The land of these leases was captured by Ranu Singhai.
Due to this action of the administration, many tribal women and men got back their ancestral land. Along with this, legal action has also been started against Ranu Singhai. SDM Chaurasia said that the administration is committed to protect the rights of tribals and no illegal occupiers will be spared.
