944 government employees working in various departments of Damoh district have suffered a setback. These employees have not linked their respective profiles to the IFMIS (Integrated Finance Management System) portal within the stipulated time. So now such employees will not get salary for the month of June. Following the instructions of the Finance Department, there has been a stir among the employees. If the salary is not received, how will the expenses of the house run? While all the employees were already being informed to complete this work in time.
It is reported that a week ago, District President of Employees Union Rakesh Hazari met Collector Sudhir Kochhar in this connection. During this time, he informed the Collector about the problem of not improving Aadhaar and overall improvement and demanded some exemption to the employees for some time. However, the Collector asked to contact the District Treasury Officer in this matter. Here, the Treasury Officer also refused to give any kind of exemption citing the instructions of the government.
Most teachers affected
The maximum number of teachers and employees of the Education Department is being told the highest number of those who did not get salary. Apart from these, employees of tribal work, transport, panchayat and rural development, public health and family welfare, general administration etc. are also included. A total of 10,543 government employees are employed in the district, out of which 9,599 have successfully linked their profiles. There are only 944 employees whose profiles have not been linked yet.
Will not be paid
District Treasury Officer Abhishek Hazari said that all government employees were being informed about the profile link for the last 9 months. 91 percent of the employees have completed the process. Clear instructions have been received from the government level that those who do not have a profile link will not be paid salaries.
