Justice Yashwant Verma has suffered a major setback in the cash scandal case. The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition of Judge Yashwant Verma. Justice Yashwant Verma in his petition challenged the Supreme Court’s interim inquiry panel report. It was recommended to remove them. Justice Yashwant Verma had said in his petition that the report of the internal inquiry committee of three judges of the Supreme Court should be declared invalid. The bench of Justice Dipankar Dutta and AG Christ took this decision. Supreme Court lodged FIR against Justice Yashwant Verma The petition demanding to do also dismissed.
Supreme Court Justice Dipankar Dutta said in his judgment that we have found that the petitioner’s fundamental rights have not been violated in this case. The CJI and the committee followed the process carefully. Except that photos and videos were not uploaded, but it was not necessary either. And since this issue was not challenged at that time, it had no effect.

Along with this, he said, ‘Sending a letter to the Prime Minister and the President was not unconstitutional. We have made some comments under which you can take action if needed in future. While hearing this petition, in the end Justice Dutta said that on the basis of all these facts, we have dismissed this writ petition.
What did the panel recommend
In fact, the Supreme Court Committee had recommended a proposal to remove Justice Yashwant Verma. The petition also demanded the cancellation of the recommendation made by the then CJI Sanjeev Khanna to the PM and the President on 8 May. It was said in the petition that he was convicted without giving him a chance for personal hearing. In the petition, the three -member inquiry panel has been accused of concluding them without giving them a chance for a complete and fair hearing.
What is the full cash scandal
Justice Yashwant Verma Cash scandal came in March this year. The dispute began when Justice Yashwant Verma’s house was found from the house in New Delhi on the night of Holi i.e. 14 March. There was a fire at his house. The fire department team came to control the fire. This team saw cash in his house. Some cash burns were also recovered. The incident stirred up judicial circles. After this, Justice Verma was sent to Allahabad High Court from Delhi High Court and an internal committee was formed to investigate the allegations. The Supreme Court panel recommended the removal.
