Some senior party leaders have accused Mumbai Congress President and Lok Sabha MP Varsha Gaikwad of failing to give direction to the organization and running the party with a limited group. Maharashtra Congress in -charge Ramesh Chennithla will hold a personal meeting with 10 members of the party’s political affairs committee in Pune on August 12. It is believed that an important decision can be taken on the future of Varsha Gaikwad in this meeting. Chennithla will attend a two -day workshop of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) held in Pune on August 12 and 13.
Demand to remove the second time
This is not the first time that dissatisfaction against Gaekwad has come to light. On June 16, many leaders also demanded the party leadership to remove him from the post. Dissatisfied leaders allege that it is difficult to meet Gaikwad. He does not even like the suggestions of workers and leaders.
