The police finally got success in the murder of journalist Raghavendra Bajpai on March 8. The names of two shooters were revealed in the interrogation of three accused sent to jail.
After about five months of hard work, SOG and STF could track the movement of shooters. The SOG team roamed around in Sawan. The same team gave information about the movement from Hardoi to Pisawan at around 4:30 pm on Thursday.
Police teams laid siege and killed the shooters in the encounter. According to police sources, SOG’s swot, surveillance and narcotics teams started searching for shooters since the incident on 8 March. The shooters were reported to be in an area of Noida.
‘8’ points from murder case
There is a strange coincidence of eight points in Raghavendra’s murder. He was killed on 8 March. From the murder of Raghavendra to the encounter of shooters, only eight bullets were used. Four bullets were hit Raghavendra and both shooters were also killed in four bullets. Raghavendra’s bike number is also 8005. In the eighth month, the police killed the accused. The shooters will be cremated on August 8.
Karim Khan became Krishna Gopal Tiwari after marrying Nazima
Ramprasad Shukla, 95, a resident of Atwa, said that Krishna Gopal Tiwari, father of the shooters, fell in love with Nazima. After falling in love with Nazima, she named her name Karim Khan. Krishna Gopal did not marry Nazima. The two lived together. Both of them had three sons Sanjay, Raju and Rahul. The daughter was killed.
Team will get a reward of 1.25 lakh
SP Sitapur Ankur Aggarwal says that a joint team of SOG and STF will be given a cash prize of Rs 50 thousand from Additional Director General of Police Lucknow Zone, Rs 25 thousand from IG range and Rs 25 thousand in my behalf. All will be honored. Both these shooters were a challenge for the police in the Raghavendra murder case. This is a great success for the police team.
