The heritage train running every Saturday on the Kalakund Heritage track from the only Patalpani in the state will not run this time on August 9. The Railways on Wednesday issued an order canceling the operation of the heritage train. This decision has been taken on World Tribal Day in view of the convenience of devotees coming to visit the temple of Shaheed Tantya Mama Bhil in Patalpani.
Patalpani is the workplace of martyr Tantya Mama
Patalpani has been the workplace of Tantya Mama, where every year the tribal society arrives for darshan in a big run. The heritage train usually runs on Saturday and Sunday and stops at Patalpani station, so that tourists enjoy waterfalls and natural views, but the trains have been postponed to ensure that the visitors are not inconvenienced.
Operations have been canceled earlier also
This is not the first time that the operation of the heritage train has been stopped during the rainy season. In the year 2020 too, on August 9, the administration canceled the operation of the train. For this season, online booking of tickets for heritage trains on the railway portal is on. Booking of train for all Saturday-Sunday of August and September is already houseful.
Patalpani station name after Tantya Mama
It is worth noting that the name of Patalpani railway station has been named after Shaheed Tantya Mama. After the approval of the state government, the central government issued its notification. It was announced by the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in November 2021.
Ticket canceled, adjustment will be done in upcoming trains
All tickets booked for August 9 have been canceled. According to the Railways, passengers tickets will be adjusted in the upcoming journey vacant seats. However, tourists planning traveling in the group may cause discomfort in the event of different tickets.
ASP wrote letter, recommendation to cancel
Indore Rural ASP Rupesh Udwedi wrote a letter to the Railways informing that devotees reach Tantya Mama Temple in a big Sanya on World Tribal Day. In such a situation, the stoppage of heritage train can hindered security and arrangements. In the letter, for the convenience of the devotees, the train was requested to cancel the train, on which the Railways canceled the train operations.
