Criminals trembled by operation convision: more than 15 thousand punishment, Yogi government’s big action

In the last one year, more than 15,000 criminals have been punished in severe crime murder, robbery, robbery, kidnapping and Poxo Act under Operation Convision in Uttar Pradesh. During this time more than 47 thousand cases of serious crime were identified. Out of these, criminals were punished by disposing more than 19 thousand cases by the court.

Operation convision across the state
Director General of Police Prosecution Deepesh Juneja said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Operation Convision is being conducted across the state to get the strict punishment to the criminals. Under the Operation Convision, 47,149 cases of murder, robbery, robbery, kidnapping, poxo act, rape and theft were identified in the last one year. Of these, 15,641 criminals were sentenced by the court deciding 19,584 cases.

A look at the figures:-
Out of 9,942 cases of murder, 4,137 were decided, out of which 3,411 criminals were sentenced and 726 were convicted. The sentence rate is 82.45 percent. 9,140 was settled in 27,074 cases of Poxo Act/rape, out of which 6,075 were sentenced and 3065 were convicted. The sentence rate is 66.46 percent. In 461 cases of robbery, 203 were decided, out of which 174 were sentenced and 29 were acquitted. The sentence rate is 85.71 percent.

Fear of law among criminals from Operation Convision Campaign
The e-procurement portal and case tracking system are being used to make the operation convision effective. Innovations such as virtual court hearing have been adopted. Prosecution officers are being trained at the district level and a quick review of cases is being done. Operation Convision campaign has created fear of law among criminals and weakened the network of organized gangs. In many cases, crime trends have decreased. This campaign has become a symbol of the restoration of law rule in the state.
