Dhankhar defeated Margaret Alva by heavy votes. Jagdeep Dhankhar got 528 votes, while Margaret Alva could get the support of 182 MPs.

Along with the support of NDA parties, many non-NDA parties also contributed significantly in the victory of Jagdeep Dhankhar. What will BJP have to do to win a big victory than Dhankhar

The BJP’s strategy is to find a candidate whose name can be fabricated in the opposition fortifications. This step is being considered part of the BJP’s strategy to gain regional balance and comprehensive support.

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have a total of 782 MPs, out of which BJP has the support of about 425 MPs. But Dhankhar gets about 103 votes less than 528 votes. In such a situation, the NDA will have to support and gather more than 100 MPs for victory like Dhankhar, while the opposition’s strategy is to stop the NDA on the figure of 425.
