There was a fight between Murthy and his son Thangapandian and Manikandan, who worked here. It is reported that during this time both sons were assaulting their father. The policeman then tried to calm the quarrel and arranged an ambulance to take the injured father to the hospital.

During this, the hidden Manikandan allegedly attacked the SSI while interacting with Thangapandian. After this, it is reported that father and another son also got involved in assault. At present, the three accused are absconding and police are searching. CM Stalin has mourned the incident. At present, there is no statement from the state’s major opposition party AIADMK. The special thing is that this incident took place at a time when assembly elections are to be held in the state in 2026. Bharatiya Janata Party leader Narayan Tirupati expressed surprise at the attack. He also said that such matters cannot be abolished by calling them private enmity.
