Rahul Gandhi’s big attack: allegations of rigging in 2024 elections, ‘dead’ told to Election Commission

New Delhi

Rahul Gandhi has once again launched a strong attack on the Election Commission. Addressing the ‘Annual Legal Conclave’ of the Congress party in the capital Delhi, he said that the Election Commission has no existence in the country. He said that I am speaking about the recent election system. I always suspected that there was something wrong with it, since 2014. I was also suspicious of the Gujarat assembly elections. The trend of the land slide of one party causes suspicion.

The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha said, ‘The Congress party does not get a single seat in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat (in Lok Sabha elections), it was a surprise for me. Whenever we used to speak, people used to say, where is the proof? Then, something happened in Maharashtra. We won in the Lok Sabha elections and then four months later, we not only lost, but completely ended. Three strong parties suddenly disappeared.

There is no Election Commission in the country anymore

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘We started investigating the election rigging seriously. We came to know this in Maharashtra, one crore new voters come up between Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Most of these votes go to BJP… Now I say without any doubt that we have evidence. We have evidence that shows that there is no Election Commission.

The Congress leader said that the Election Commission does not provide digital copy of the voter list. These documents cannot be scanned. Why will the Election Commission provide copies that cannot be scanned? He made a big allegation and said that in a Lok Sabha constituency we investigated the voter list and found that out of 6.5 lakh voters, 1.5 lakh voters were fake.

There was rigging in Lok Sabha elections

Rahul Gandhi accused the Lok Sabha elections of rigging. He said, ‘We are going to prove it, we now have data. The Lok Sabha elections may be rigged and rigged. The Election Commission is dead in India. We have documents to prove this. If she got 15-20 seats less, she (PM Modi) would not become Prime Minister.

Retired election will not leave even the officers: Rahul

A day earlier, while talking to the media in the Parliament House complex, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of theft. He had said that I am saying very seriously that the Election Commission is stealing votes and it is doing this for BJP. He said that all the people who are doing this work while sitting in the Election Commission are working against the country. We will not leave it from top to bottom. This is treason. He warned the Election Commission officials, saying, “Wherever you are, retired or whatever, we will find you.”

Claim of fraud in voter list

Giving an example of a Lok Sabha seat, Rahul Gandhi said, “We examined the voter list of a seat. There were 6.5 lakh voters in it, of which 1.5 lakhs came out.” He claims that this is not an exception, but a fraud done under a planned scheme. The Congress leader made this comment during the national conference organized by the Law Department of the party at Vigyan Bhawan.

“If 15-20 seats were reduced, Modi could not become Prime Minister”

Rahul Gandhi further said that the BJP’s majority government is due to this disturbance. He said, “If BJP gets 15-20 seats less, Narendra Modi would not become Prime Minister.” Rahul Gandhi also raised serious questions on the fairness of the Election Commission and said, “The Election Commission in India is now dead.” He alleged that this institution is no longer working independently.

“Doubt was since 2014, now found evidence”

Rahul Gandhi said that he had suspected the election system since 2014, and deepened this suspicion during the Gujarat assembly elections. He said, “In states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, the Congress was not getting a single seat, was surprising. Whenever we said, people used to say where are the evidence?”

Maharashtra becomes turning point

Rahul Gandhi claimed that he found concrete clues for the first time in Maharashtra. He said, “We won in the Lok Sabha, but after four months we were badly defeated in the assembly. When we investigated, we found that 1 crore new voters were added between the Lok Sabha and the Assembly, most of which went to the BJP. Now I have no doubt that this election was affected by the disturbances.” Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress party will now reveal this truth to the whole country on the basis of these facts and documents. He said that they would raise it at both legal and political levels.

We do not pay attention to such threats: Election Commission

On Friday, the Election Commission had denied Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s fake fraud in the voter list and explosive allegations of rigging in elections, describing his claims as baseless and irresponsible. The Commission said that when we call Rahul Gandhi to register our objection, he does not come and now we have started threatening our employees. Reacting to the allegations of the Congress leader, the Election Commission said, ‘We ignore such baseless allegations being made every day and are working in a fair and transparent manner, despite the threats being made every day.
