Areas like Delhi-NCR, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh have received good rainfall in monsoon this year. Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Noida and all areas of Delhi received good rains this year. This means that the entire North India including Delhi-NCR, UP, Haryana should prepare for more rain.
The Meteorological Department says that there will be normal rainfall in August. Apart from this, more rainfall than normal is estimated in September. In this way, if you look at the launch period average, there will be 106 percent rainfall in two months, which is 6 percent more than normal. However, this will not happen in all parts of the country. This year there will be good rains in North West India i.e. UP, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Punjab and Uttarakhand. Apart from this, rains will be less than normal in eastern India, Central India and most states of Western India. The important fact is that this year, Bihar, Bengal and Odisha have received less than normal rainfall so far.
North Bihar usually has received good rains. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has made arrangements to estimate rain at the block level as well. What will be the weather of 7,200 blocks of the entire country, when it will rain and when the sky will be clear, complete information will be given. It has been arranged through Block-Wis Renfall Monitoring Scheme (BRMS). The Meteorological Department says that realtime information will be available through this. Till now, district -wise information was given by the Meteorological Department. It is believed that now the estimate of the Meteorological Department will be more accurate.
Now weather will be estimated at block level
Usually, in the district level estimate, there was rain in any one part and there was nowhere. People used to associate it with the estimate of the Meteorological Department that it proved to be wrong. Now the block level will be estimated. The Meteorological Department has also given the figure of monsoon rains of June and July. The Meteorological Department says that in June and July, most states have received surplus rains, but many states of Central, West and Eastern India have received less rainfall than anticipated.
