This year, India’s ranking has increased from 85th place to 77th position, which is being considered a big jump. This means that it has become easier for Indian citizens to travel to more countries now. Many popular countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Maldives, Mauritius are now giving visa-free entry to Indian citizens. At the same time, visa-on-arrow facilities are being available in countries like Sri Lanka, Qatar and Myanmar. That is, now you do not have to go through a long visa process.
Visa-Free and Visa-on-Around: What is the difference?
Before planning a foreign trip, it is important to understand the difference between these two:
Visa-Free Country: Indian passport holders do not need to take a visa in advance to visit these countries. You can go there by booking a flight directly. However, every country has its own rules such as how long they can stay or for what purposes.
Visa-on-Around: This means that you can take a visa after landing at the airport where you are going. For this, filling a form at the visa counter there, giving necessary documents and paying the prescribed fees.
