Policemen will be taught separate lessons about transgender for the first time. Apart from this, they will also be told about senior citizens, disabled, women and child rights. This will be part of their training course. The police headquarters added new subject matter in training in view of new methods of development and crime in changing times, including them.
Changes in training syllabus after 2011
Training of 4500 selected constables in the year 2024 is going to start within a month, in which some subjects will be included. The training course has been changed after 2011. Child and women are a large part of crime in crimes in the state. Based on the old data, the state’s cases, their rights, the limits of the police, the changing methods of crime, such as the use of internet media, efforts being made by the police, no facts to prevent crime, no facts that are left in mind, they will be specially told about subjects such as compilation of the necessary evidence to increase the rate of punishment, compilation of the necessary evidences to increase the rate of sentence.
Topics related to training of policemen
Some subjects have been included in the training of constables and sub -inspector level policemen. There are some special challenges in front of the police in crimes related to transgenders. In such a situation, the training will be included in the training of transgender, the challenges faced by them. Policemen will also be told that they have to behave with sensitivity and respectable manner. Similarly, crimes related to the disabled will be trained. ADG Training Rajababu Singh said that policemen will also be trained about cyber crime, artificial intelligence, drone technology. After giving them nine months of training in seven police training schools of the state, police units will be deployed.
