The MP High Court has given partial relief to the state Congress President Jeetu Patwari in two cases. The High Court has given relief to them and allowed them to get passport renewed and go abroad. Justice Sanjay Dwivedi’s single bench said that he is being given this relief in special circumstances.
Jeetu Patwari gets partial relief on this condition
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has said in the case of Jeetu Patwari that after completing the passport and visa process, Jeetu Patwari will give undertaking that they will not misuse the permission and freedom given by the court. The single bench has given this permission for two months i.e. 30 August. Patwari had submitted an application to cancel two FIRs lodged against him.
Case of revealing the identity of the rape victim
Actually, Jeetu Patwari Jhabua had a tribal girl’s house in Jehabua, a rape victim, who was raped. During this time, the identity of the rape victim was revealed on social media. An FIR was registered on Jeetu Patwari. Similarly, another FIR was registered due to indecent remarks on former minister Imrati Devi.
In fact, in May 2024, Jeetu Patwari, while discussing with the media, made controversial remarks on her with the name of Imrati Devi. On this statement, on the complaint of Imrati Devi, an FIR was lodged under the IPC and STSC Act proceeds at Dabra police station in Gwalior on 3 May 2024.
Jeetu Patwari referred to daughter’s convocation
On behalf of Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari, an interim application was submitted in these cases that her daughter studies in the United Kingdom (Britain). His daughter is to have a convocation in college, in which it is mandatory for the father to stay. Therefore, they should be allowed to renew passport and go abroad. The court has issued an order in view of this special situation, giving them the relief relief.
However, a single bench of Justice Sanjay Dwivedi of Madhya Pradesh High Court has clearly stated that Jeetu Patwari will give the undertaking that they will not misuse the permission and freedom given by the court.
