Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla had a courtesy present in the ministry by UNICEF India Representative Sinthia McCafree. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the partnership of UNICEF India has made significant contribution in strengthening health services in the state. The state government’s schemes have got a new direction with the technical expertise of UNICEF and cooperation at the ground level. Better implementation of plans is being ensured by shared efforts.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that with coordination and cooperation between the Government of Madhya Pradesh and UNICEF India, notable works are being done in the direction of anemia and malnutrition in the state. He said that the government and UNICEF India together are committed to ensure that every mother and every child of the state get better health facilities. Through shared objectives and concrete action we will create a healthy and prosperous Madhya Pradesh. Sumaccaferee appreciated the continuous efforts being made by the state government to reduce infant mortality and maternal mortality in the state and UNICEF.
