Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in Indore- “Ayyashi Congress does. Records of Congress people are witness to this. So all their leaders are walking on bail. What they are doing is not a hidden thing.
The Congress should understand that BJP people are responsible for their people. We know to run our government with accountability. We also know how to deal with whatever law will break in our state, how to deal with it. We know to deal with all.
We have instructed the administration to find such people and hold it where they meet. If you do not come, then take the same action as it is necessary. We will follow the law under any circumstances. I assume that all people will definitely take care of this. “
Financial councilor Anwar Qadri alias Anwar Dacoit of Muslim youth for love jihad was not found even on the sixth day. Banganga and Sadar Bazar police are searching for him vigorously. 19 criminal cases have been registered against Anwar in various police stations of the city. According to Banganga police, Anwar’s son Mohammad Aslam Qadri was named by Altaf Khan and Sahil, accused of rape and love jihad.
Anwar had given three lakh rupees to these two accused who raped Hindu women, to marry them and include them in unethical business. The accused used to meet Anwar at the Muslim community programs. According to TI Siyaram Singh Gurjar, the police has accused Anwar. Action is being taken in his house (Bhishti Mohalla) and in -laws (Sadar Bazar).
Congress councilor Anwar Dastak alias Anwar Dacoit, named in more than 19 cases like fatal attack, robbery, Balwa, illegal weapons, land possession and assault, is once again under the law.
This time the case is not limited to criminal activities just. Police investigation has revealed that the dacoit conspired to implicate Hindu girls, to convert and push the body into business. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given an open exemption to the police in this case. The Congress is calling it a political conspiracy.
There are 19 cases registered against Anwar in various police stations including Sadar Bazar, Azad Nagar, Sanyogitaganj, Ujjain. The DCP has also declared a reward of Rs 10,000 on his arrest. The police have questioned his brother -in -law Amjad and Aamir’s family.
Preparation of Rasuka, Commissioner sent notice
Sadar Bazar Police has sent a proposal of Rasuka against Anwar. During the India-Pakistan War, Anwar raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad in a demonstration. According to TI Yashwant Baroule, Anwar has been bail in this case. Police has sent a proposal of Rasuka on the basis of criminal records. Notice has also been issued to Anwar from CP court.
No one will run in front of the government
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who came to the city, said to give free hand to the district administration and police regarding the fugitive councilor Anwar Qadri of Indore. He said that the father of the dacoit or the dacoit will not run anyone’s grandeur in front of the state government.
Anwar dacoit was sentenced to one year 13 years ago
About 13 years ago, Congress councilor Anwar Qadri alias Anwar Dacoit along with his brother and another accused was sentenced to one year imprisonment by the court in the case of a murderous attack on a young man. The attack took place on 6 May 2009 near the Azadnagar intersection in Indore, when the dacoit and his companions were sitting in ambush behind the old jail. He attacked a young man named Anwar Hussain, who was a witness in a case. The police arrested a total of 9 accused, including the dacoit in the case, pistols, katta, swords and knives were recovered from whom.
The case of robbery is registered in Ujjain, the name ‘dacoit’ was found from it
In 1996, a case of robbery was registered on the Congress councilor Anwar Qadri of Indore in Mahakal police station area of Ujjain. It is said that after this case, he came to be known as ‘Anwar Dacoit’. After the case was registered in Ujjain, Anwar Qadri also carried out several incidents like assault, threatening into the house in Indore, due to which his name was constantly in controversy.
Anwar Qadri has been a councilor three times from the Congress, while his wife has been elected twice a councilor. Anwar Qadri was also appointed as General Secretary of the City Congress while Pramod Tandon’s city Congress president. According to sources associated with Congress, Qadri also contested an independent election once.
Slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, Anwar dacoit sent jail
On 28 April 2025 at the Barwali post in Ward 58 of Indore, Congress councilor Anwar Dacoit organized an effigy burning program of Pakistan and terrorism to protest against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. During the program, as soon as Qadri spoke the word ‘Pakistan’, some supporters present there shouted slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. The program included a large number of Muslim women, men and children.
BJP MLA Golu Shukla lodged an FIR for the video of the incident. After which Anwar Qadri was arrested and sent to jail.
Congress councilor Anwar Qadri entered the house of a journalist with a gun
In the Barwali Chowki area of Indore last year, Congress councilor Anwar Qadri was accused of entering and assaulting the house of a journalist. The case is related to local journalist Javed Khan, whose house Qadri entered some of his companions.
According to the police, Anwar Qadri assaulted Javed Khan with kick and punches and also threatened his family. Javed also alleged in the complaint that Qadri abused the women of the house and intimidated the children. The house was also vandalized.
After the incident, the police registered a case against Anwar Qadri and his associates on Javed Khan’s report. This case is also included in many criminal cases in which Qadri’s name has been revealed.
Case filed for fake votes in civic elections
During the 2022 Municipal Corporation elections, Congress Councilor Anwar Qadri was accused of threatening voters and trying to get fake votes at the polling station. The incident took place on 6 July 2022 at the polling station at Government Kasturba Kanya School, where in the afternoon, Qadri intimidated some voters and allegedly tried to conduct fake voting.
During this time, Qadri obstructed the government work and abused the officials present there and threatened to kill him. Immediately after the incident, Assistant Returning Officer Anshul Khare lodged a complaint at the police station Sarafa, on the basis of which the police lodged an FIR against Anwar Qadri.
