The way for opening Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ashoknagar has been cleared. The demand for years is now going to be fulfilled. This has made this possible with the efforts of regional MP and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. After waiting for 22 years, the admission process in the school will start from June 21. However, the race to take credit for the opening of the school has also started.

In fact, during the Lok Sabha elections, the people of Ashoknagar demanded Jyotiraditya Scindia for Kendriya Vidyalaya. Ashoknagar did not have a Kendriya Vidyalaya for years. Now the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has announced to start the admission process on 18 June. The admission process in Kendriya Vidyalaya Ashoknagar will start from June 21. According to the information, this process is starting for the academic session 2025-26. Initially, the school will enter the school for children from class 1 to 5. There will be 40 seats in each class. This school will currently be started at the District Education and Training Institute (DIET) building in Patharia.

The fruits of Jyotiraditya Scindia’s efforts

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has played an important role in opening this school. He requested Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to open Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ashoknagar. Following his efforts, in December 2024, the Government of India approved 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. Ashoknagar is also one of them. Recently, Joint Commissioner (Administration) Deepesh Gehlot issued a letter on 11 June and announced the operation of the school.

Meanwhile, an old post of former region MP Dr. KP Yadav is also going viral on social media. This post has a copy of an order related to Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2023. Supporters of former MP are calling it the attempt of former MP KP Yadav. Describing Scindia’s efforts, it has been said that he formally demanded Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Only after this, the government approved 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas in December 2024, including Ashoknagar.

The letter issued by Joint Commissioner (Administration) Deepesh Gehlot has announced the operation of the school. Gehlot issued this letter on 11 June. The letter gives detailed information about the operation of the school. There is a wave of happiness among the people due to the opening of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ashoknagar. People had been demanding this for a long time. Now their children will get a chance to get better education. This school will also play an important role in the development of Ashoknagar.
