The works started from March 30 in the water Ganga promotion campaign in the state have been completed. The works done by the district administration are being reviewed. The state -wide campaign will be concluded on 30 June. A comprehensive plantation scheme is being prepared around the water sources in the districts. Water harvesting has been given priority in government-private buildings for water conservation.

Rain water harvesting system in court premises
In the Jal Ganga Promotion Campaign in Ashok Nagar, a night water harvesting system has been constructed for water conservation in the Constitution Vatika and Pipleshwar Mahadev Temple Court premises. This work was done under the guidance of District Judge Shri Sanjeev Singhal. Water harvesting has been constructed to preserve water during the rainy season. Constitution Vatika and Pipleshwar Mahadev Temple Court premises have been constructed in the absorption pits.

“Water Dialogue” Workshop
Water Ganga enrichment campaign is being run to prevent falling ground water level in Khandwa district and to promote rainwater conservation. Under this campaign, roof water harvesting structures are being set up on all government and private buildings of the district. In this initiative, active participation of district administration, urban and rural local bodies, industries, voluntary organizations, self -help groups, homeowners, panchayats and community -based organizations is being encouraged. In Khandwa, water dialogue on this subject took place. Participants involved in the workshop were administered an oath to save water. The workshop was addressed by Collector Shri Rishabh Gupta.

Wall writing for the purpose of saving water
In order to save water in rural areas in the water Ganga enhancement campaign in Narsinghpur district, wall writing is being done by various committees of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad. Through wall writing, people are being given a message of water conservation and promotion by motivating people through various motivational slogans. In this sequence, wall writing was done in the village Rahma-Belkhedi of Block Chichli for the purpose of water conservation and promotion.

Water conservation oath
On the instructions of Collector Shri Ajay Dev Sharma in Pandhurna district, the District Coordinator of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad and his team took out a water journey to increase public participation in the campaign. In the village Umrikhurd of the development block Pandhurna, the masses were told the importance of water by putting water chaupal. Villagers were also motivated to plant more and more saplings in the area. The villagers were administered the oath of water conservation and promotion.

Clean water, safe future
In order to make the resolutions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, “Jal Ganga Savardhan Abhiyan” has started from 30 March under the direction of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, which will run till June 30. Constant activities are going on in the campaign in Shahdol district. Under the campaign, where new ponds are being built on one side, on the other hand, old ponds, stepwells and wells are being renovated. Work is also being done to collect clean and water to the rivers. The work of construction of new field ponds in Dhanganwa, Gram Panchayat of District Panchayat Gohparu, was done with collective participation.

Water sample test by women before the central party
In Agar-Malwa district, Jal Shakti Abhiyan, under Ketch The Rain, under the Katch the Rain, the women Devbai, Jassubai Rekhabai and Santosh Bai, trained in front of Central Nodal Officer Ms. Garima Shrivastava, checked the quality of water by applying the test of PH Mann. Women’s work was praised by the central party. The villagers were identified in the district and informed about their importance. The villagers were administered an oath to clean the water sources.

Review of water Ganga enrichment campaign
In Dindori district, Collector Smt. Neha Maravya reviewed the progress of the Jal Ganga Promotion Campaign. 2200 farm ponds are being built in the district. The blinds of these have been completed. Recharge structures are being made to increase the water level of 1500 wells in the district. 187 public ponds are being constructed in district panchayat of the district. The Collector instructed to complete all the work in the next 7 days with quality.
