Indore

More than 900 trains are operated by the Indore Municipal Corporation to cover garbage from across the city, many of which are old diesel vehicles. Diesel costs about 4 crore rupees every month on these trains. Recently, the Municipal Corporation had also bought CNG vehicles, but their cost was also not as expected. Due to this, now the Municipal Corporation has planned to shop for electric vehicles on a large scale.

Diesel vehicles getting spoiled frequently

The functionality of these electric vehicles has been better and now they are gradually being replaced by diesel trains.
