About 1 lakh 33 thousand students have received admission in the first phase of the admission process of graduation, postgraduate and NCTE courses in colleges under Higher Education Department. About 14 thousand students have got admission in NCTE courses. About 90 thousand students for graduation and about 30 thousand students for postgraduate have deposited the entry fee. A total of 1 lakh 20 thousand students have deposited their entry fee in higher education institutions.
Last year session under the Department of Higher Education 2024- 25 In the first phase, graduation and postgraduate 96 thousand students and about 11 thousand in NCTE courses, thus a total of 1 lakh 7 thousand students got admission in higher education institutions. Compared to the previous year, there has been an increase in entry numbers in the first phase in all courses.
Wednesday was the last date for the second phase registration, about one lakh students have registered by 6 pm on the last day of registration. In this, about 55 thousand in graduation, 23 thousand in postgraduate, and about 20 thousand students in NCTE courses have registered in the second phase. So far, a total of 5 lakh 15 thousand students have registered for admission. Last year, a total of 3 lakh 50 thousand students had registered in both the phases. About 2 lakh more registrations have been done in this session as compared to last year.
