Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that rural tourism is an effective medium of self -reliance and self -pride. Due to tourism activities at the village level, where the youth are available for employment and economic advancement at the local level, tourism activities, our rich cultural heritage, Teej-festival and catering are also helpful in providing national recognition at the national level. Home-Stays developing in the state are becoming a medium for the spirit of “guests Devo Bhava:” of the Indian cultural tradition. It is the effort of the home-stay operator and the state government to take positive image and good memories about all the guests coming to the state. Along with tourism, Panchayat and Rural Development, Tribal Affairs Department etc. are working in this direction coordinated. The tradition of pilgrimage in Indian culture has been for centuries. People of the world leave the house for hobby and bliss, where the people of India go on a salvation journey of Chardham, where they are familiar with the diverse lifestyle and traditions of other states, assimilating eternal cultural values. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is increasing the sense of mutual faith according to Indian values. Despite the turmoil globally, the country is on the path of progress. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed this view while addressing the state level festival with rural color tourism. He inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium.

Website launched for Responsible Tourism Mission, Exhibition Overview
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition organized by participants and institutions of various districts under the festival with the objective of encouraging the activities focused on rural tourism. Along with this, clay artifacts were also made on the chalk. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched the dedicated micro website for the Responseable Tourism Mission of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and inaugurated the virtual of 241 home stains constructed in various villages of the state.

MoU to promote tourism
In the program, MoU was exchanged for installing LED and solar lights in 61 villages between signifying and tourism board for the development of rural tourism. Also, MoU was exchanged between the Scope Global Skill University and the Tourism Board for film production and digital promotion between the MoU and MPSEDC.

Tourism will also get the benefit of wellness summit
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that helicopter service will be started for tourists through the State Tourism Board on the lines of Uttarakhand soon. The state government has summoned to increase wellness facilities for tourists. If they come here, they will get wildlife tourism, religious tourism as well as health facilities. This will increase the medical tourism of the state and will benefit the economy of the state. The State Tourism Board is on its own on the path of development. The films prepared for the promotion of the Tourism Board were amazing. An action plan should be prepared for fresh use. Madhya Pradesh will not only get the top position in the tourism sector but also in the world.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav communicated with home-stay operators
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored 10 district collectors including Narmadapuram, Agar, Chhatarpur, Niwari, Morena, Sehore, Sidhi and Panna, who achieved 100 percent targets in home-station construction. It is noteworthy that home stars are being built in 37 districts of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored the representatives of the respective institutions including the sarpanch and DATCC of 16 Gram Panchayats by giving them a citation to provide support in increasing rural tourism in the districts. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also interacted with home-stay operators of other districts including Chhindwara.

526 percent increase in the number of tourists
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 526 percent more tourists came to Madhya Pradesh in 2024 than 2020. Apart from Orchha, Khajuraho, the number of people coming to Kanha, Pench and Bandhavgarh has increased in the state. These three places are among the 5 best national parks in the country. Kanha has topped the national parks of the country. Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of tiger (tiger) in the world in India and India. This is a matter of pride for the people of the state. Many wildlife including vultures, crocodiles, crocodiles are also present in the state. He said that it is an innovative attempt by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board to start about 241 home stars on the major tourist destination. Home stations have started at tourist destinations in other districts including Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench National Parks.
