The 1.3 km long iconic bridge under construction at Bhedaghat on Narmada in Jabalpur will be a unique example of modern engineering. This bridge will also have an extra dose cable bridge of 487 meters. This will be the fourth bridge in Jabalpur with an extra dose cable. The way high stressed extra dose cable has been used in the cable stay bridge at Madanmahal railway station, it will also be constructed on the same lines.
Ropeway will be built in Phase-2
On the completion of the construction work of this bridge under construction at a cost of 270 crores, ropeway will also be established in it, which will give tourists to the tourists virtuous Salila Maiya Narmada. However, this work will be in Phase 2. Along with this, hotels will also be built at both ends of the bridge. The lighting of this bridge is also going to be special, which will attract tourists. There will be connectivity directly to the airport via Ring Road via NH 45 via this bridge being built in Bhedaghat. At the same time, tourists will be able to reach the tourist destination on both sides of Narmada through the ropeway.
25 percent work completed
The Iconic Bridge, which is being built across the Narmada in the state’s largest ring road, has been completed 25 percent. Construction agency NHAI has targeted to complete it at the end of 2026. The bridge has 4 spawn of extra dose and 35 spons of non -extra dose.
65 percent work of second iconic bridge completed
The second iconic bridge in Ring Road is under construction at a cost of 200 crores in Bhatauli area on Narmada. 65 percent of this 1.2 km long bridge has been completed. The rest of the work is aimed to complete by the end of this year. However, there will be no ropeway in this bridge. This bridge will have 5 spon extra doses and 12 spawn non -extra dose.
Hotels have to be built for tourists
The hotel will also be constructed at the Oiconic Bridge to be built in Bhedaghat. In view of the importance of tourism, attractive hotels will be constructed along with a bridge built on heavy steel and concrete structure on the river, where tourists will be able to spend some moments of peace.
Lighting will be attractive
In the second face of Ring Road, the Iconic Bridge, which will be completely out of the bridges built in Bhedaghat on Narmada, from Manegaon to National Highway 45. According to the project officials associated with the project, the lighting of the iconic bridge will also be something that will make the bridge the center of attraction. At the same time, tourists will be able to reach the tourist destination on both sides of Narmada through the ropeway.
Network is being prepared for new bridges
Two and a half decades ago, 1 and a half decades ago, Pul used to be in Tilwara to cross the Narmada. When the new bridge was built two decades ago, the bridge of the British era was closed. In a decade, another bridge was constructed in Tilwara to cross the Narmada. With this, a new bridge was constructed in Bhatauli. Due to the expansion of road routes, the circumference of the city has increased to fifty -five kilometers. Along with the construction of new bridges in Laheta, Saraswatighat, Bhedaghat and Jamatara, the ring road is also taking shape, thus the preparation of the new road network will make it easier to reach across the Narmada River. The possibility of rapid expansion in other areas of the city around the ring road has also increased.
Construction of one kilometer long iconic bridge on the Narmada River in Phase-1 of Ring Road is going on. Foundation is being prepared for the Muy Spon of the Bridge. Approach road has been constructed on both sides.

The hotel will also be constructed at both ends of the bridge.
