Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government has decided to earn moong and urad at the minimum support price in the interest of farmers. In 36 moong producing districts of the state, moong will be obtained at the rate of Rs 8682 per quintal and urad in 13 urad producing districts at the rate of Rs 7400 per quintal. Farmers will be able to register from June 19 to July 6, after which the procurement will be done from 7 July to 6 August. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ministers before the meeting of the cabinet held in the ministry on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that various activities are conducted to encourage investment in the state. In this sequence, on the occasion of Ganga Dashami, a massive event focused on validation was concluded in Ujjain. In this sequence, a summit on regional industries and employment is being organized on 27 June on “MSME-Day”. Ludhiana will also have a National Interactive Session on MSME on 7 July.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the time-limit to inaugurate the first phase of Bhopal Metro in the month of September is fixed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be requested for the inauguration of Bhopal Metro. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the amount of Rs 250 will be paid to Ladli sisters on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. A decade of International Yoga Day is being completed on 21 June this year. On this occasion, International Yoga Day program will be organized on 21 June under “Yoga Sangam”. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts should be made to set records in the country by organizing programs on yoga in more and more urban bodies, wards, panchayats of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that tourism in the state has increased by 19.6 percent in a year. In the year 2024, 13 crore 41 lakh tourists came to Madhya Pradesh. This number is 19.6 percent higher than in the year 2023. In the year 2024, 1 lakh 67 thousand foreign tourists came to Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh is a fast growing state in the field of tourism. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also instructed the ministers to review the public welfare schemes run in their departments and share the suggestions necessary to make them more effective.
