Earth Aba campaign of tribal empowerment historical step: Governor Patel

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that the tribal village Utkarsh Abhiyan launched by the Central Government on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda is a historical step towards tribal empowerment and inclusive development. The purpose of the Earth Aba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan is to welfare, empower and develop citizens of the tribal community. It is the effort of the government that the citizens of the tribal community who are still deprived of the services, facilities and schemes of the government should be benefited. His participation in the development of the country should be ensured as a strong citizen. Governor Shri Patel was addressing a state level camp program organized in village Jholiapur in Sehore district under Dharti Aba Abhiyan.

Governor Shri Patel said that 18 ministries of the Central Government are coordinating the campaign. Several schemes including PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, NRLM are being operated for all needy citizens. He said that this campaign of the government will be meaningful only when we all together try to make this campaign a success. It is the responsibility of all of us to go to the camps organized under the campaign and motivate all those tribal communities to take advantage of schemes and services. He said that under the Dharti Aba Abhiyan, the benefits given to the citizens of the tribal community are also being monitored and soon they will come to Sehore again to observe it.

Governor Shri Patel visited the exhibitions organized by various departments in the state level camp. The publicity chariot was also flagged off for the promotion of Dharti Aba campaign. MLA Shri Ramakant Bhargava also addressed the program on the occasion. Initially Collector Shri Balaguru K. Informed about the activities and implementation conducted in the district under the Dharti Aba campaign. District Panchayat CEO Dr. Neha Jain thanked.
