Governor Mangubhai Patel said that by becoming a public servant, only the people get the opportunity of development and human welfare of the nation. With service, public service is the identity of the true public servant. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the Chief Executive Officers and Block Officers of the newly appointed Janpad Panchayat of Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor K.C. Gupta was also present.
Governor Mangubhai Patel said that the learning and work experiences of senior officials should be used in the challenges of administrative life. He said that whenever you go on the field tour, behave the public in kindness, listen to their problems politely and resolve them with priority. Problems related to the basic needs of the common people like bread, cloth, house and health related problems should be resolved immediately.
Governor Mangubhai Patel said that in the last years, the welfare programs of the Central and State Government have paved the way for the development of Madhya Pradesh. Now development is seen in remote areas. AAP officials have the basic responsibility to make the government’s goal successful to improve the lives of poor, disadvantaged and needy. It is the ultimate responsibility of your post to bring the welfare schemes and programs of the government to the last person of remote areas.
Governor Mangubhai Patel was greeted by Mrs. Sarita Bala, Director of Water and Land Management Institute Bhopal, by offering a plant and offering mementoes. Mrs. Bala gave a welcome address. Trainee officers Ms. Aastha Jain and Mr. Ravi shared training experiences. Dinesh Jain, Additional Secretary, Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, expressed his gratitude.
