Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput has informed that smart PDS system is to be implemented in Madhya Pradesh very soon. For this, the e-KYC of the beneficiaries who receive ration materials under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) have to be completed 100 %. E-KYC of 1 crore 11 lakh beneficiaries has been made in the campaign being run for e-KYC since February 2025. Also, out of a total of 5.32 crore beneficiaries of the state, the e-KYC of 4.74 crore beneficiaries has been completed. This is 89% of the total beneficiaries of Madhya Pradesh.
Minister Shri Rajput has informed that the remaining 54.8 lakh eligible beneficiaries from e-KYC in Madhya Pradesh are also to be done in the month of June. Instructions have been issued to all the collectors to e-KYC by setting up camps at village and ward level in the entire state to complete the e-KVC of these beneficiaries in June. Regarding the campaign, Additional Chief Secretary Food Mrs. Rashmi Arun Shami has directed all the Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors of the state to make all the necessary efforts for e-KYC by taking priority.
Keeping in mind the convenience of the beneficiaries, the facility of e-KYC has also been provided on the mobile phone. For this, my e-KYC app for the beneficiaries of Madhya Pradesh has been launched in the state. Through this app, any beneficiary, who takes ration through this app, can do e-KYC sitting at home by registering the Aadhaar and OTP of their families with any endroot mobile phone.
Food Minister Shri Rajput has appealed to all the beneficiaries taking all the ration of the state, who have not yet done e-KYC, to complete the 100 % e-KYC of themselves and their families at the earliest with mobile phones or POS machines. This will facilitate all of you to get ration.
