The Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s Shri Sringeri Sharda Math Administration of Karnataka has expressed gratitude for sanctioning 2195 crore for the construction of a grand ‘Advaita Public Arts Museum’ at Ekatam Dham in Omkareshwar. Administrator of Sringeri Sharda Peetham, Mr. P.A. Murali said that the decision to develop the Advaita Public Museum as a global center of unity (A Global Center of Forests) in a cabinet meeting organized under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Expressing intensive gratitude to the state government, Shri Murali has said that this effort of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is not only a grand memory form dedicated to the timeless teachings of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya, but will also serve as the lights of Advaita Vedanta all over the world.
Shri Murali said that the inauguration of a grand statue of 108 feet high in the first phase in Omkareshwar in the first phase (Statue of Forestness) is also a matter of pride for the Vedas and scholars of the Sringeri Math. He also invited Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to Sringeri Math. It is noteworthy that Jagadguru Shri Adi Shankaracharya established the Sringeri Math on the banks of the holy Tunga River of Karnataka 1200 years ago. The first of the four Amnay Peeths, this monastery is pure with the divine presence of Goddess Shri Shardamba, the presiding deity of knowledge, and has always been the revered center of the monastery, spirituality and tradition.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav intends that Simhastha: Before 2028, Omkareshwar should be made a major center of attraction for devotees and tourists like Ujjain. This place holds significant importance in the religious and spiritual tourism scenario of the state.
