In different areas of Madhya Pradesh, 6 people have died due to celestial lightning in the last two days. There are many scorched, which are undergoing treatment in the hospital. In two days, these incidents of unseasonal thunderstorms and celestial lightning were reported in Damoh, Dhar and Maihar districts.
Three children fell on Saturday evening in Simri Baroda village under Magaron police station in Damoh district. A 14 -year -old son of a Narayan Ahirwar, Amit went to the farm with his friends Madan (15) and Anil (17). The celestial lightning fell on them amid bad weather. Police said that Madan, son of Kamoda Ahirwar, was unconscious, when he was taken to the civil hospital, the doctors declared him dead. The injured Amit and Anil are undergoing treatment.
Eyewitnesses said that Madan had lightning marks on the chest and clothes were torn, showing how serious the lightning incident was. The police have started investigating the incident.
In the Sardarpur area of Dhar, the laborers working in the field lost their lives in three different incidents. Vardi Bai of Rundi village and Sukhram of Naharpura Jolana village were hit by electricity while returning from the farm. In Ratakot village of Amjhera police station, Lightning fell on Munni, wife of Sohan Singh Damor and died while working in the field.
Many cattle also died due to celestial lightning. Lightning near Bakhtawar in the Amjhera region killed 7 goats and 25 -year -old Nitesh, taking care of animals, was scorched. He is undergoing treatment at Amzera Health Center.
Lightning in Maihar, 35 -year -old Suraj Rawat of Madai village died, who was resting under the tree. Other people are also reported injured in nearby villages. 13 -year -old Atul and his 23 -year -old uncle Mahajan were hit by lightning while grazing goats, while 32 -year -old Kalpana Singh and 8 -year -old Kishan Singh got scorched while working in the fields in Sonwari.
