The opportunity for the district farmers under Kharif 2025-26 is available till July 31, 2025. The Deputy Agriculture Director said that under this scheme, paddy, maize, millet and Urd crops have been notified in the district.
In view of the continuous changes in the weather and disasters, crop insurance is necessary for farmers, so that income can be protected in the event of natural disaster. Both indebted and non -indebted farmers can avail this scheme.
With the message of ‘Crop Insurance-Get Crop Insurance Kavach Pao’, the Department of Agriculture is trying to connect more and more farmers with the scheme. Deputy Agriculture Director Arun Kumar Tripathi said that currently IFFCO Tokyo General Insurance Company Limited is the implementation agency of the scheme.
In the event of crop failure or other disaster, farmers can file their complaint on toll free number 14447. The department has appealed to the farmers to get insurance done before the last date so that there can be relief in the event of any disaster.
