To end Maoism from the country and to make Dandakaranya region Naxal -free, work is being done continuously by the administration and the government. Along with the campaign being run by the security forces, efforts are being made to surrender more and more Maoists. In this sequence, 12 Maoists have surrendered in Bhadrani Kothagudem district of Telangana located on the Chhattisgarh border. This surrender has been done under Operation Chaiutha before Superintendent of Police Rohit Raj.
Explain that this is a special rehabilitation campaign being run by Telangana state government and police. The surrenders include two divisional committee, four area committee, two parties, two militia and two RPC members. Superintendent of Police Rohit Raj said that in the year 2025, 294 Maoists have surrendered so far. He appealed to the citizens of the border villages to inform the Maoist activities.
Financial assistance based on rank
Recently, 20 Maoists were caught on the information of villagers in Mulugu district. Explosives, weapons and other materials were recovered from them. The Maoists who surrendered by the Telangana government are being given 25 thousand rupees immediately as relief. 7 former Maoists have been provided assistance of 12 lakhs on rank basis. Apart from this, 26 thousand rupees have already been given after Aadhaar card verification.
